Only clean your duvet when and if it is necessary.
We do not recommend laundering your duvet at home.
Always use a duvet cover, it will prolong the life of your duvet.
Domestic washing machines are too small and have an agitator in the centre which can damage the duvet.
We recommend choosing a reputable dry cleaning establishment with extensive experience with duvet cleaning.
St Genève duvets are guaranteed for twenty years against any defect in materials and workmanship.
Since our duvets are sewn using a sealed baffle box design, the filling is guaranteed to stay in place for the life of the duvet.
The warmth of winter weight duvets are guaranteed for ten years. If your winter weight duvet is not warm enough, St Genève will add down at no charge.
The guarantees are provided that the care instructions have been followed accordingly and a duvet cover has been used at all times.
All guarantees are void if labels are removed.

After considering the basic concept of Fill Power or Loft, other important factors include room temperature, local climate and whether you tend to sleep warm or cool. Generally, warm sleepers in a warm bedroom will do better with a Summer duvet while cool sleepers in a cool bedroom will be better off with a Classic duvet. A Winter duvet is generally only recommended in lower fill powers or when the bedroom is not heated or extremely cool.
Since we can add down but cannot remove down, it is always better to start with a lighter fill weight.
Higher quality duvets will provide a wider comfort range; they will be warmer in the winter, and cooler in the summer than lower quality duvets. This is because higher quality down is better at all the things that down is famous for (such as insulation, lightness, breathability, etc) than lower quality down.
